Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition

Location: Dallas, TX



The Sr Manager Talent Acquisition will be focused on planning and resources, onboarding, technology solutions including the ATS and other technology, referral program/system, supporting the field with everything (including advice) they need to be successful (essentially, an SME on recruiting);


  • Manage recruiting team including setting performance objectives, monitoring service level expectations, and maintaining cost-effective delivery of service
  • Work with VP of Human Capital and Senior Leaders to develop annual/quarterly forecasted functional plans, including opportunistic/top grading hiring initiatives
  • Oversee development and implementation of recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates through multi-media advertising, social media, job fairs, college fairs, networking, business and employee referrals and /or third party assistance.
  • Work on a daily basis managing recruiter workload
  • Create, execute and maintain in depth knowledge of functional strategic objectives
  • Setting function priorities and team expectations
  • Demonstrate and manage best practices related to requisition intake/discovery and strategic launch of sourcing strategies for requisitions
  • Provide leadership through coaching, training, advice and counsel to recruiters on day-to-day issues relating to the execution of their respective recruiting workload and needs
  • Responsible for building the recruiting capabilities of the team and for developing and maintaining a high-performance culture
  • Develop, manage and monitor monthly talent acquisition metrics and trends
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of recruiting programs/manage large-scale recruitment projects as applicable
  • Perform direct recruitment for senior level positions, as appropriate



  • Undergraduate degree
  • PHR, SPHR, CPC certifications
  • 10+ years of full cycle recruitment experience in a high-volume recruiting environment
  • 3+ years of prior supervisory/managerial experience in a Talent Acquisition Department
  • 3+ years of senior level/executive recruitment experience
  • Knowledge of best-in-class recruiting techniques as well as employment law practices
  • Ability to work with Senior Management and to develop strong relationships
  • Ability to manage performance expectations
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications and demonstrated ability to deliver information in presentation format
  • Demonstrated experience in compensation and negotiation of offers
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a continuous learner, understanding complex business strategies and recommending appropriate recruitment solutions
  • Demonstrated project management experience handling large scale hiring initiatives
